Welcome to Bicton Arena

Bicton Arena is recognised as one of the leading equestrian venues in the South-West. Situated in the majestic setting of rolling Devon parkland, its close proximity to junction 30 on the M5 means it is easily accessible and attracts competitors and spectators from across the South-West and beyond.

Bicton Arena boasts superb facilities, including more than 100 cross country fences  located in the grade one listed parkland, two superb all weather arenas along with its iconic grass showjumping arena, and a further five competition rings. The Arena attracts in the region of 10,000 competing horses each year, with many more non-competing riders taking part in camps and training days.

Competitions are held throughout the year that are affiliated to the governing bodies of British Eventing, British Showjumping and British Dressage. There are also numerous unaffiliated competitions across each discipline, along with many clinics and lecture demonstrations taken by leading trainers and riders.

The venue has also become a popular base for Pony Club and adult horse camps.  Here at Bicton Arena, we pride ourselves on hosting efficient and professionally run competitions, clinics and schooling hire to all levels of riders.
