Commando Challenges

April Event-This is a brand new Challenge - with a total 3 Phase distance of 10k and being held on a different part of Woodbury Common to the October event and instead of the bogs, mud and tunnels - this Challenge is based around a military style sceThis is a brand new Challenge - with a total 3 Phase distance of nario - and TEAM WORK.

There is a 4k Advance - 2k of military style Leaderless Tasks and a final 4k Withdrawal to the finish line.

October Event-The 4K FUN challenge is just that - GREAT FUN

Bear with me for a minute or two, close your eye's and imagine... it's October, it's raining, it's cold, it might even be snowing, you drag yourself out of bed at 5am, you put on the oldest clothes and boots you can lay your hands on, you travel all the way to Devon, you run 4K and finally you get soaking wet and covered from head to toe in brownie/orangie coloured mud - and all in the name of charity.

The 10K MARINE challenge is a world apart from the FUN challenge - not only do you have to do the whole of the 4K event, but also complete a pair of 3K road runs.

The Exmouth Rotary Club-Walk or Run

A sponsored "family fun" charity event organised by the Rotary Club of Exmouth for walkers or cyclists wishing to raise funds for their favourite charity, club or good cause.

Cyclo-Cross National Trophy

Cyclo-Cross races are usually multi lap events, held on short (typically less than a mile and often less than half a mile), grassy courses, generally in public parks or on school playing fields. Less technically demanding than Mountain Biking, Cyclo-Cross often requires riders to dismount to clear artificial obstacles - often wooden boards. The ability to swap smoothly and quickly

from riding to running and back to riding in one fluid motion is a key skill for advanced riders.

Deaf Circle Halloween Event

Camping event held for the deaf to include stand up comedian and other entertainment including, bouncy castle, sumo wrestling etc
